SPRING BINGO FUNDRAISER PROMISES FUN, GIFTS, AND CASH PRIZES!

Celebrate the change of seasons at the Spring Bingo Fundraiser sponsored by Hesed Place on Friday, March 20, 2026. Doors open at 6:30 and Bingo starts at 7:00 pm. The event will be held at Hesed Place Journey Center at 2619 Trent Road in New Bern, NC. Space is limited so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended since they may not be available at the door. Try your luck with this classic game of luck and strategy. Mark your numbers, aim to complete the specified pattern on your cards, and shout "Bingo" when you do. It’s fun for all ages!

The Basic Spring Bingo ticket is $25 and provides three books of 10 Bingo cards, while the Bites & Bundle ticket comes with two books of 10 Bingo cards, two slices of pizza, two bags of popcorn, and two drinks. Additional Bingo books of ten cards are available at $5 each. Cash prizes and special gifts as well as refreshments for purchase add to the festivities.  Click on the QR code or go to www.hesedplace.com/events/ to purchase tickets today!

Hesed is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to trauma recovery and community restoration, has launched ENGAGE, a series of sensory-based interactive workshops in safe spaces where participants can feel grounded, supported, and connected. Adults are invited to register for programs in areas of creative arts, music, pottery, trauma-sensitive yoga, horticulture, Tai Chi, and more. The calendar of classes is available on their website.

Membership for the ENGAGE Program is just $15 per month and includes access to unlimited in-person workshops and 24/7 entry to a private online trauma-healing community. All workshops are held at the Hesed Place Journey Center unless otherwise noted. Partial funding for the ENGAGE Community Program has been provided by a grant from the Craven Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

The ENGAGE Community Program is not therapy but has proven to be very therapeutic. Workshop leaders allow healing to unfold naturally through connection, rhythm, and presence. ENGAGE is a community-based program that complements other recovery supports. Small in-person workshops nurture the whole person, in body, heart, mind, soul, and spirit. Participants often express feelings of increased calm, emotional stability, and a renewed sense of hope through shared and meaningful experiences.
