New Bern Pride is proud to host an Open Mic event at Bank of the Arts on March 7, 2pm-4pm. This event encourages local poets, writers, musicians, and other creatives to share their original works with the community in a free and open setting. Artists may register to participate at www.newbernpride.com or the day of the event. This event is free and open to the public.

Open Mic events offer local creatives the opportunity to showcase their work to local community, free of charge. This event is open to poets, writers, acoustic musicians, comedians, and other creatives. Each participant will be limited to 5 minutes for their performance. This event is also free and open to the public to attend and watch, and provides an opportunity to connect and view our local creative community.

New Bern Pride is a community-based, volunteer-run organization dedicated to providing visibility, support, and connection for LGBTQIA+ people throughout New Bern and Eastern North Carolina. Craven Arts Council & Gallery is a local arts nonprofit promoting arts and artists in our community, and offers exhibitions, events, concerts, and more throughout the year.
