FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Bern Pride Launches Search for Pride Prom 2026 Sponsorships

New Bern, North Carolina – New Bern Pride has officially opened its sponsorship search for Pride Prom 2026, with a primary focus on securing a Title Sponsor to serve as the partner for Eastern North Carolina’s most visible LGBTQIA+ event.

Now entering its fifth year, Pride Prom has evolved into a regional celebration welcoming hundreds of attendees and functioning as the organization’s largest annual fundraising initiative, generating critical support for year-round community programming and operational sustainability. Organizers are seeking a business or organization prepared to step into the Title Sponsorship role that will anchor the event’s success while receiving premier branding and extended visibility.

The Title Sponsor – $5,000+ receives exclusive presenting recognition as:

“Pride Prom 2026 presented by [Sponsor]”

This partnership includes prominent branding across all event marketing, featured placement on-site, front-page recognition on the New Bern Pride website for one year, event stage time, entrance-area branding, and expanded promotional exposure throughout Pride Month.

Early commitment at the Title Sponsor level directly strengthens event logistics, expands accessibility initiatives, and encourages additional business participation across the sponsorship program.

Additional Business Sponsorship Levels
Businesses of all sizes are invited to participate through tiered sponsorship opportunities designed to balance community impact with measurable marketing visibility:

Supporting Business – $200
Community Sponsor – $500
Presenting Sponsor – $1,200
Premier Sponsor – $2,500
Signature Sponsor – $4,000

About New Bern Pride
New Bern Pride exists to create a lasting, visible, and equitable future for LGBTQIA+ individuals in New Bern and across Eastern North Carolina. We do this by building safe and inclusive third spaces, cultivating vital services, and fostering authentic connections that strengthen our community. Our mission is not simply to host events, but to step into the gaps where no one else is serving. Through partnerships with nonprofits, businesses, and civic leaders, we bring together resources that advance equity, celebrate diversity, and provide direct support to those who need it most. We are committed to professionalism, accountability, and transparency as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Our work is driven by three pillars: community, connection, and support.

Pride Prom represents more than a single-night event. Sponsorship directly supports the creation of safe, affirming community spaces while positioning participating businesses as visible partners in regional community development across New Bern and surrounding counties.
