Craven Arts Council & Gallery is proud to present the 2025 New Bern Artist Studio Tour. This event connects the public to artists by showcasing the artists at work in their studios. This free, self-guided tour starts November 8th, from 10am-5pm, with an optional tour day on November 9th from noon to 3pm.
Now in its eighth year, the New Bern Artist Studio Tour is dedicated to connecting the public with artists, and educating them about artists' creative processes. Visitors will have the chance to learn about the artists’ materials and tools, watch their creative process, ask questions, and purchase artwork directly from the artists. The 2025 tour will feature 62 artists in 30 studio locations across the city, including an artist pop up in the Harrison Center in downtown New Bern. Artists range from hobbyists to professionals, and include mediums such as painting, photography, sculpture, woodworking, and many others.
Visitors for the tour may pick up an Artist Guide from Bank of the Arts and various locations in New Bern available now, or access a digital map and guide at www.newbernartists.com. Participants can also pick up an Artist Studio Punch card, which tracks how many studios they attend. Visitors who receive ten stamps from the studios can then redeem the card for a unique 2025 New Bern Artist Studio Tour enamel pin at Bank of the Arts.
The New Bern Artist Studio Tour is operated by NBST committee as a program of the Craven Arts Council and Gallery, a local 501c3 dedicated to enriching the arts in Craven County. This program is supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
