Main Gallery – Straddling the Line Exhibition by BF Reed

Craven Arts is proud to present exhibition Straddling the Line by BF Reed for the month of February 2025. This exhibition features a variety of art styles from watercolor, pastel, and acrylic artworks that will be on display the month of February 2025. The opening reception will be held during Artwalk on February 14th from 5 – 8 pm.

BF Reed is an award-winning artist located in Wilmington, NC. Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Reed began drawing as a preschooler where “she could often be found with a pencil in hand.” Upon completing her Bachelors of Fine Arts at the Tyler School of Art, Reed launched her professional career as a Medical Illustrator at Temple University’s Medical School. There, she created detailed images of animal and human biological and surgical information. Soon after, she started a career as a Graphic Designer and designed marketing logos, brochures, and magazines for an assortment of major entertainment events. Reed shared her diverse artistic experience as an educator, encouraging her students them to unlock their imaginations. Straddling the Line encompasses a variety of styles and mediums, as Reed shows off her watercolor, pastel, and acrylic artworks in this solo exhibition.
