Hesed Place is hosting “Daisies & Daubers Bingo” on Friday, May 15 that promises a night of connection, laughter, and a little friendly competition—where winning is just a number away!
Doors open at 6:30 and Bingo starts at 7:00 pm. Try your luck with this classic game of luck and strategy. Mark your numbers, aim to complete the specified pattern on your cards, and shout "Bingo" when you do. It’s fun for all ages! Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to enjoy the fun!
The event takes place at Hesed Place Journey Center at 2619 Trent Road in New Bern, NC. Space is limited so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended since they may not be available at the door.
The Basic Bingo ticket is $25 and provides three books of 10 Bingo cards, while the Bites & Bundle for 2 tickets comes with a total of six books of 10 Bingo cards, two slices of pizza, two bags of popcorn, and two soft drinks. Additional Bingo books of ten cards are available at $5 each. Beer and wine are also available for purchase. Go to https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/daisies-and-daubers to purchase tickets today!
Hesed Place is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to trauma recovery and community restoration. ENGAGE, a new series of sensory-based interactive workshops in safe spaces has recently been launched where participants can feel grounded, supported, and connected. Adults are invited to register for workshops in areas of creative arts, music, pottery, trauma-sensitive yoga, horticulture, Tai Chi, and more. The calendar of classes is available on their website. The ENGAGE also offers a series of six-monthly Resilience Workshops that empower individuals to build personal strength, self-confidence, and emotional stability in specifically focused areas to deal with past traumas and current life challenges.
Membership for ENGAGE is just $15 per month and includes access to ENGAGE workshops in a variety of hands-on activities, as well as access to a private, online trauma-recovery community. All workshops are held at the Hesed Place Journey Center unless otherwise noted. Partial funding for the ENGAGE Community Program has been provided by a grant from the Craven Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
