Coastal Carolina Regional Airport Awarded $750,000 Federal Grant to Advance New Daily Service to Washington, D.C.
NEW BERN, N.C. — OCTOBER 2026 Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN) announced that it has been awarded a $750,000 grant through the U.S. Department of Transportation's Small Community Air Service Development Program (SCASDP). One of only 14 airports nationwide to receive an award, EWN was the only airport in North Carolina selected for funding this year.
