"Cavalry Appliance Service opened in New Bern, North Carolina, in August of 2021 and moved into Highland Business Center and Coworking Space in January 2023. Before that, Joseph Seeley provided appliance repair service beginning in 1988 in the Baltimore, Maryland Metropolitan area as part of the top-notch team at Landers Appliance. He is a certified master appliance technician and services all makes and models of all major home appliances. Ginny Seeley, brings to the business her experience as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Quality Improvement Specialist with a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management. 
 
Joe and Ginny take pride in bringing excellent, personalized appliance service to New Bern and its surrounding areas! Cavalry Appliance Service’s mission statement is: “We provide highly skilled service and advice for all makes and models of all major home appliances, and we treat our customers the way we would treat the people we love most.” The company’s vision is to be “fiscally responsible and ethical in our business practices, and focus on keeping our skills sharp through continuing education, leveraging technology, and serving our community.” Each part of Cavalry’s logo holds special meaning: The Chevron represents service to the community, the Rook represents critical thinking and problem-solving, the Hawk stands for perseverance and the commitment to work until an appliance is fixed or issue a refund, and the Crown represents the owners’ Christian Faith, which holds Cavalry to the standard of treating one another, its community, and its customers with love, respect, and integrity.
 
Shortly after their arrival in New Bern, Ginny founded a group of female entrepreneurs called the New Bern BUSINESS Ladies and leads free monthly workshops to give back to women business owners in our community.  This group inspired the vision behind creating what would become Highland Business Center and Co-Working Space.  
 
At Highland Business Center and Co-working Space, our mission is to help small businesses WIN through personal growth and collaboration. We do this by fostering a comfortable and vibrant co- working center where personal development, business growth, education, collaboration and community are at its heart. 
 
Our vision is to make commercial office spaces, actionable education and mastermind groups accessible to businesses whether they’re just starting out or growing by leaps and bounds. 
 
In addition to a variety of work spaces, including floating desks, designated desks, private offices and commercial spaces, we offer workshops, courses and mastermind groups to help entrepreneurs launch and implement systems to grow their businesses.
 
We are located in the growing community of New Bern, North Carolina, but also offer remote executive business coaching as well as support with creating a brand package, social media presence and the tools to care for your personal and professional self through our unique approach to goal setting, using science and lean six sigma tools."
