At Attitude Dance Center, we are dedicated to creating an environment that is warm and accepting, and where students of every age and background are invited to discover the beauty of dance. We aim to empower our students by helping them express themselves through movement, and foster an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity, and personal growth. Our goal is to inspire each of our students to achieve their full potential and experience the sheer delight of dance.

We offer our classes in 5-month terms vs. the traditional 10-month dance year.  We feel this allows our dancers the ability to not have to choose between taking dance classes and doing other extracurricular activities that may have conflicted with their schedules in the past.  Both our fall and spring terms will offer a recital performance opportunity for all our dancers.  If dancers are enrolled in a combo tap/ballet class they will perform only one style in the recital and the opposite style in the following term recital.  This will allow us to offer reduced costs to the families for costume fees.  Fewer recital costume changes will also equal shorter performance times for recitals.  Furthermore, split terms allow dancers to start fresh each term without the worry of starting late and falling behind.  We can more conveniently access the needs and skills of our dancers to move them up in levels in each of their dance styles to better challenge them on their dance journey. 

For our littlest dancers, we offer traditional tap/ballet combination classes as well as a morning drop-in class during the hours of 10-11 AM.  Our Dance Discoveries drop-in class is designed for ages 3-5 years old, while we are more than happy to also include the tiniest of dancers below the age of 3 with adult assistance.  This is a fun and engaging class designed to encourage young children to explore how their bodies move in the space around them through dance. This class will also include activities that focus on developing coordination, balance, and spatial awareness, such as walking on tiptoe, skipping, or hopping. This creative movement class is a wonderful way for young children to develop their motor skills, creativity, and social skills while having fun and expressing themselves through movement and dance.  We offer this class as an individual visit drop-in for $10 per child or families may purchase a punch card for $45 for 5 visits or $90 for 10 visits.  This is also great for our out-of-town visitors looking for a kids' activity during the week. 

Don’t worry we have not forgotten about our adult dancers!  Our Adult Classes are offered in 6-week sessions. This class is a fun and exciting way to learn new dance skills and meet new people. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, this adult class can challenge you to step outside your comfort zone and explore new styles of dance.
