Craven County Health Department Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is devoted to achieving its goal by supporting the Craven County Hospice with providing remarkable care for hospice patients and their families in our community for over the past 40 years.
In order for us to continue this level of care we need your help. On Wednesday, May 10th, we will be hosting our annual fundraiser, the Spring Breakfast, at the Riverfront Convention Center from 8:00 am – 9:00 am.
The money raised will directly benefit Craven County Hospice’s patients and their families, along with the enhancement of our Hospice services, including the Respite Program. This service is not provided by Medicare but is offered by the Craven County Hospice agency to all of our hospice families. Our Respite Program provides an aide to visit the hospice patient’s home, allowing the caregiver time to relax or run errands. Craven County Hospice provides this type of service, and other services not covered by Medicare, to enhance our community members’ level of care.
Last year, we raised almost $30,000 and are anxiously looking forward to an even greater success at this year’s event. Our efforts would go even further with your organization as one of our table sponsors. With your organization by our side at our Spring Breakfast, we are sure to achieve our goal this year and will definitely serve our community well.
