About Us

WITN-TV, Eastern North Carolina’s trusted NBC affiliate, has been serving the Greenville–New Bern–Jacksonville region since 1955. As a cornerstone of local broadcasting, WITN delivers award-winning news, weather, and community-focused programming across multiple channels, including NBC, MyNetworkTV, MeTV, and Telemundo. With studios in Greenville, New Bern & Jacksonville, WITN is committed to keeping viewers informed & connected.

WITN provides 43.5 hours of local news and weather to its viewers each week. Our efforts start each morning on WITN News at Sunrise, followed by WITN News at Noon—the only hour-long noon news in the market. Weekdays, WITN offers ENC at Three and WITN First at Four, the only newscasts of their kind in Eastern Carolina. All of this leads into WITN News at 5, 5:30, and 6, and we wrap each evening with WITN News at 11.

In 2024, WITN helped ECU Health raise over $1 million, benefiting the children’s hospital here. WITN partnered with Toys for Tots, collecting thousands of toys at our station for children of Eastern Carolina. WITN also sponsored Riley’s Army, whose mission is to provide support to children with cancer, and sponsored the 2024 Eastern Carolina Vocational Center, which is the largest employer of people with disabilities in Eastern Carolina. Partnering with these worthy organizations that help the people of the communities we serve is important to WITN.
