Mid-block on Pollock between Hancock and Metcalf there is a narrow gravel road next to the Aerie Inn. We are in the brick building at the end. Park there or at 511 Broad St, the NB Historical Society.
About Us
The New Bern Preservation Foundation works to preserve and protect the architectural heritage of New Bern, North Carolina. We raise funds for specific projects, work with Preservation NC and other organizations to carry out projects, negotiate and hold protective covenants on over 70 historic structures, and raise public awareness of important structures needing help.
NBPF has helped to save over 62 historic properties by purchasing and, in some cases, moving structures to prevent demolition. Each structure was resold with a preservation easement in place to ensure the historic integrity of a structure was being preserved.
We believe New Bern is special for many reasons – and to us, one of the most important is our amazing historic architecture. Thank you so much for your support.
