About Us
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to Alzheimer's care, support, research, and advocacy. Our mission is to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia through accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support for all those affected.
We provide free educational programs, support services, care consultations, and resources for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. Through partnerships with healthcare providers, businesses, and community organizations, as well as fundraising events such as the Walk to End Alzheimer's, we work to advance brain health, raise awareness, and support families throughout eastern North Carolina and beyond.
