Broad Street Banners

Craven Arts Council & Gallery (CAC&G) is seeking submissions from New Bern artists and businesses for their annual Broad Street Banners programming. Local artists of all mediums are encouraged to submit at no additional cost, and businesses are invited to sponsor, beginning at $250. Applications for both sponsors and artists open December 1st, 2025 at newbernbanners.org and close on Saturday, March 14th, 2026. For information, email info@cravenarts.org.

For over 10 years, Craven Arts Council & Gallery has lined Broad Street in downtown New Bern, NC with their Broad Street Banners, featuring signature banners designed to create a sense of unity between the arts and local businesses. Each banner has an image of original artistic work, including but not limited to; photography, painting, performance, pottery, & more, paired with the sponsors choice of text; business or organization name, an event or program. Craven Arts Council & Gallery is a free entry art gallery in downtown New Bern, NC, open Tuesday – Saturday 10 am – 5 pm. Additionally, every 2nd Friday they host Artwalk 5 – 8 pm, an event promoting the arts in the community. For more information, visit cravenarts.org – Artwalk.
